10 things to do in Singapore available at Singapore Local Tour Packages

So what are the things you must do absolutely if you are passing through the city-state?

1.  Marvel at Gardens By The Bay
Meet Pandora (the planet of the movie Avatar), certainly one of the most spectacular places in Singapore. The two paying gardens (Flowers Dome and Rain Forest) offer different and fun experiences but you can also just sit outside and admire the giant trees. Since this is one of the most viewed attractions it would be best to book beforehand your Singapore Attraction Tickets.

2. Admiring the City from the Top of Marina Bay Sands
If only to have a view of what Singapore is and also see the infinite pool at the top of Marina Bay Sands (MBS).  Unfortunately this is not accessible to visitors (except for hotel guests).

3. Take a drink at 1-Altitude
In the evening, in order to have a panorama of Singapore by night. The most beautiful night view of the city-state. On the other hand do not order the Singapore Sling (the local cocktail) as a drink. It's just too sweet and not really very good. And while we are talking about drinking, better be safe and book Singapore Maxi Cab for the return trip.

4. Eating dim sum at Din Tai Fung
Not to be missed at restaurants all over Singapore, which offer excellent dim sum, often imitated and rarely matched (especially given the correct prices). If you only had one meal in Singapore, go to Din Tai Fung.

5. Visit the Singapore City Gallery
Many people wonder why this place is unavoidable in Singapore. Simply because it is the best place (much more than the National Museum) to realize the Singaporean success but also the organization of the authorities of the island. A must and more it's free and it pleases everyone (and it's great for families with children).

6. Getting lost in Chinatown
Full of shop houses (traditional houses), and also the perfect place for small souvenirs gadgets (magnets, key rings,).

7. Shopping in Haji Lane
One of the alternative neighbourhoods in Singapore which offers plenty of independent shops. Moreover, Haji Lane is located in the Malais district of the city and offers another little-known view of the city-state: the shop houses and the small streets which contrast with the austere and cold image of the city centre.

8. Spend an evening at the Night Safari
This remains one of the most popular attractions of the City-State that appeals to families. Be careful to look at the weather because the place is outside and in case of rain, it is immediately much more painful (even with umbrellas). Make sure you have booked your Singapore attraction tickets beforehand in order to avoid the queue. This can be easily available at any one of the Singapore local tour packages.

9. See the shop houses of Kampong Bahru
Travel through the past and stroll through the narrow streets of Kampong Bahru to see the traditional houses of Singapore. Quiet and relaxing. Kampong Bahru is located in the Everton Park area, right next to the Outram Park MRT underground station (in the city centre).

10. Take a picture of the Merlion
Passage point for photos with the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands in background, much like the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Another one of my favourite which almost made it to the list (had I only numbered my title 11 instead of 10!) is the SEA aquarium; impressive, the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia. Usually I do not like aquariums at all (I'm not a fan of Ocean World in Honk-Kong), but the SEA Aquarium in Sentosa with its giant basins and giant manta rays is worth a visit. Again seek the help of Singapore Local tour packages for easy access pass without the hassle of the long queue.
